Alpacas of America is one of the oldest and largest alpaca ranches in the country and have an outstanding reputation in the alpaca community. They are located in the state of Washington. They hold an annual auction in Las Vegas every January that is the jewel of all auctions.
Alpacas of America boasts of having more than 1600 alpacas. They have recently announced a partnership with Al and Cathy Abrams as co-owners of Roman Candle of Bolivia to bring their superior blood lines to the east coast. Another superior herd sire was recently acquired from Alpacas of America, rose grey in color and comes with a bevy of ribbons won at various shows. His name is Ice Capp he will be arriving in Florida between mid-January and late March 2009.
There are many plans in the works for furthering the partnership. Some of Florida Alpacas, LLC's foundation stock was carefully selected with Alpacas of America in order to provide future generations with outstanding bloodlines, confirmation and quality fleece.
