Here at Fab Ulous Alpacas we do agist alpacas. We have state of the art facilities. We take care of every alpaca as if it was our own.
We feed nothing but the finest orchard grass hay, pellets and minerals. Every alpaca gets to stay within easy reach of automatic waterers and gets to rotate their pasture in order to reduce exposure to parasites. We plant our pastures with a special grass developed by the University of Florida which is as good as it gets. Here at Fab Ulous Alpacas we take pride in the amount and kind of care they receive. We have an excellent veterinarian on call should she be needed.
We monitor the health of every alpaca. This includes regular fecal testing with our own microscope in or own lab, body scoring and even have the ability to check on pregnancies with our own ultrasound machine.
Our pastures have sprinklers for our little friends to cool themselves off, if they desire. They do get an "unlimited salad bar" which is available to them 24/7.
There are several reasons to agist your alpacas and we will tailor make an agreement that will provide the necessary things plus whatever extras you want for your particular alpaca. The fees differ depending on the amount of extras you may want and, of course, the length of their stay.
